What’s the motivation behind this e-guide?
The motivation is my 20 years of experience in the field picking up bits and pieces of information from different agencies and how they operate. When you enter the field, there’s no formal training on how an agency works-you are either baptized by fire or you have to follow some senior staff person around. There have been few opportunities to learn the “agency” and why the Social Work role is so important. 

So I decided it was time to put a quick cheat sheet (45 pages) together to help Current and Future Social Workers understand some of the back-end as well as start to understand how to advocate for yourself in the field. There are a few pointers on how Documentation can make you or break you.
